Green Phenolic Hot Mounting Resins

Operating procedure

Sample pretreatment:
Cut to appropriate size, with a smooth and defect free surface.
Clean and remove oil stains and impurities (ultrasonic cleaning can be used).
Sample installation and molding:
Place the sample into a dedicated mold, ensuring a distance of 3-5mm from the cavity wall.
Heating:
Start the embedding machine heating system and heat the resin to 150-200 ℃ (thermosetting resin) or softening point (thermoplastic resin).
Pressurization:
Apply pressure (100-300 bar) to fully fill the gaps in the sample with resin.
Cooling and solidification:
Maintain natural or accelerated cooling under pressure to cure the resin.
Demoulding and post-processing:
Remove the inlay, cut excess resin, and polish to a mirror finish.
