Maintenance methods of cold mounting auxiliaries
The maintenance methods for cold mounting auxiliaries are as follows:
Mold maintenance
Cleaning: After each use, promptly remove residual resin inside the mold. Appropriate solvents such as alcohol can be used for auxiliary cleaning, while avoiding solvent-induced corrosion to the mold. For metal molds, wipe them dry after cleaning to prevent rusting.
Storage: Store molds in a dry and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and high-temperature environments to prevent deformation. For molds that are not in long-term use, apply a thin layer of anti-rust oil on the inner surface.
Inspection: Regularly check the dimensional accuracy and surface condition of molds. If wear, deformation or damage is found, repair or replace the molds in a timely manner.
Stirring tool maintenance
Cleaning: Clean stirring tools immediately after use to prevent hardened resin from becoming difficult to remove. Select suitable cleaning agents according to resin properties. For epoxy resin, organic solvents such as acetone can be adopted for cleaning, with proper ventilation and fire prevention measures guaranteed.
Storage: Store cleaned stirring tools in a dry and tidy place, separate from sundries to prevent damage and contamination.
Vacuum impregnation device maintenance
Cleaning: Regularly clean the vacuum chamber, pipelines, valves and other components of the vacuum impregnation device to remove residual resin and impurities and ensure smooth operation of the vacuum system. Use dedicated cleaning agents for washing, then rinse with clean water and air-dry thoroughly.
Vacuum degree inspection: Periodically check the vacuum degree of the device to ensure it meets operational requirements. If the vacuum degree drops abnormally, inspect the vacuum pump, seals and other components, and carry out maintenance or replacement in a timely manner.
Vacuum pump maintenance: Perform regular maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, including vacuum pump oil replacement and air filter cleaning, to ensure stable operation of the vacuum pump.
Maintenance of other auxiliaries
Mold release agent: Keep the release agent in a sealed container to prevent volatilization and contamination. Shake well before use to ensure reliable demolding performance. Replace the solution once deterioration or failure occurs.
Colorant: Store colorants in compliance with specified requirements, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature. Seal the container tightly after use to prevent volatilization and deterioration.
Protective cover: Clean the protective cover after use and store it in a dry place to prevent deformation and damage. Replace it immediately if broken or malfunctioning.
